You’re applying for the Heat Pump Program - Air Source.

Before you start, please read the important information below:

To apply, you must be a registered Efficiency Manitoba supplier.

Make sure you have the following information handy:

• Your myEM account username/email and password (if you don't have an account yet, select "Create account" on the login page).
• The building owner’s contact information.
• Details about the building (building use, year of construction, total building area (ft2), current heating system, air conditioning, etc).
• Proposed heat pump heating capacity (MBH).
• Eligible building heat load (MBH) as defined in terms and conditions.

The building owner must have an email address for you to apply online. If your customer doesn’t have an email address, send a paper application to heatpump@efficiencyMB.ca or to the following mailing address:

Approval is required for the Heat Pump Program. Remember not to begin the install or purchase any materials until we’ve approved your application.

Tools and resources for equipment sizing and selection:

• Natural Resources Canada has developed an ASHP sizing and selection toolkit, intended for use by mechanical system designers and renovation contractors.
• Eligible models and equipment details are available in the searchable product list from Natural Resources Canada. You’re required to include the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) number, manufacturer, and model number(s) which can be found using this product list.
